On Thursday, June 20, youth ministers from across the Archdiocese of Toronto came together to take a look back at the 2023-2024 pastoral ministry season.
Approximately 30 youth ministers participated in the meeting which was facilitated by members of the Office of Catholic Youth and hosted at St. Noel Chabannel Parish in Wasaga Beach. To begin the day, Fr. Tom Kluger, pastor of the parish, celebrated Mass for the group and acted as a generous and warm host for the entire day.
This meeting occurs at the end of each ministry year and is an opportunity for parish youth ministers to come together to share their thoughts and experiences throughout the past year and start the process of planning and envisioning a way forward for the next mininstry year that kicks off in the fall. In addition to being an opportunity for fraternity and friendship, the day is also used as a period of reflection, review, and an exchange of ideas for the year ahead.
As the summer season arrives, we pray for all youth in the archdiocese, that they have a restful break from their studies and school work. Additionally, we offer prayers for all who dedicate their lives in service, ministering to the young people of the archdiocese and leading them to grow in their faith journeys, enhance their knowledge and understanding of the faith, and offer encouragement to our youth to form deep and lasting personal relationships with Jesus Christ. May God bless you all!
